Established 1927
Nine kilometres down Nine Mile Beach is Blacksmiths, home of the Swansea-Belmont Surf Club. Access to the beach is provided right along the Blacksmiths beach front, with excellent parking facilities and a large park and picnic area at the southern end. This end of the beach faces east and receives increasing protection from Swansea Heads, Moon Island and the northern entrance wall.
