The Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW exists to develop practices in education, prevention, emergency care and rescue to ultimately meet our vision of 'zero preventable deaths and injuries on NSW beaches'. Surf Life Saving NSW is certified with the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID 90394). In Australia, only Registered Training Organisations can deliver accredited training and must meet rigorous national standards to qualify for and maintain this registration. Under our scope of registration , we can deliver and issue a number of nationally recognised qualifications under the banner of the Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW	Member Training Commercial Training Community Education Academy Staff Academy FAQs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS)

WHO IS THE AUSTRALIAN LIFESAVING ACADEMY NSW?

The Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW is everyone involved in training and education in Surf Life Saving NSW - both volunteers and paid staff. It is not a place or location - it is everywhere - on the beach, in the surf club, at the Branch, in the office, in your workplace. The Primary focus of the Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW is to provide high quality, cost effective vocational education and training to members, employees and commercial clients.

STRUCTURE

The education and training services offered by the Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW can be divided into three arms:

	Australian Lifesaving Academy NSW
Member Training	Commercial Training	Community Education
Meeting the needs of Surf Club members	Meeting the needs of organisations and individuals within NSW communities	Helping spread the surf safety message with NSW communities and schools
