Description
Toowoon Bay SLSC
Established 1954

Toowoon Bay is the bigger twin of its neighbour Blue Bay. It is semi-circular in shape, faces east, and has rocky reefs forming the entrance to each side of the bay. Higher waves breaking over the northern reef generate a large rip in the centre of the bay, so stay close inshore. Best access is from the southern end where there is a park, a caravan park and on the beach a boat ramp and the surf club, formed in 1954.

Safety Rating
5 (in the north) and 3 (in the south) (1-safest, 10-least safe)
