Description
Tathra SLSC
Established 1910

Tathra Beach extends south from the mouth of the Bega River (Mogareka Inlet) turning south-east in lee of Tathra Head. The Tathra-Bermagui road runs along the back of the beach with access from a northern picnic area, and along the southern section from the two beachfront caravan parks and the surf club in the southern corner. This is a relatively old beach settlement owing to its proximity to the Tathra Wharf which served as a port for coastal shipping.
