North Avoca Beach SLSC
Established 1957
Avoca Beach is a popular holiday destination for Sydneysiders as well as Central Coast locals. The 1.5km-long beach lies between two prominent 60m-high sandstone headlands and faces the east-south-east, exposing it to waves averaging 1.5m. North Avoca is primarily a residential area developed since the 1950s. The North Avoca Beach Surf Club was established in 1957 and occupies the centre of the northern beach with its car park providing the best beach access.
