Description Nobbys SLSC Established 1923
Nobbys Beach was also created when the entrance wall was constructed, and today it backs the entire beach. During big seas waves wash across the beach to reach the wall. At the south end a seawall continues around in front of the surf club to the car park at the foot of Flagstaff Hill. The beach faces east-south-east and receives waves averaging 1.6m. The waves combined with rocks at the south end and reefs to the north produce a potentially hazardous beach.
