Description
Killcare SLSC
Established 1932

Putty Beach is 1.6km long, the eastern third lying in Bouddi National Park, while the slopes behind the western end have been developed for housing. The beach and backing foredune remain relatively natural, with only the Killcare Surf Club occupying space at the far western end. The beach lies between prominent 70m high sandstone headlands, with a 130m-high ridge also running behind the beach. Roads run down the ridge to the western Putty end where the National Parks maintain a picnic and camping area. A second car park, picnic area and rock pool are next to the surf club at the western Killcare end.
