The Next Phase
In the past 5 years, Day of Difference has made significant headways in improving the lives of critically injured children and their families, and the amazing support staff who assist in their recovery.
We are proud to have raised well over $7 million to assist in the purchase of intensive care and emergency equipment, grants in research, provision of accommodation, operating theatres, a simulation centre, diversional therapy, camps, research and more.
We are now in our next exciting phase of growth as we look to continue to broaden our reach across Australia and develop new and innovative programs that will increase our capacity to help families both in hospital and beyond.
Our new initiative, the Day of Difference Family Support Program, will offer key services identified as most necessary in the ongoing recovery and support of families facing these traumatic situations. These are based on meeting the psycho-social needs of families through Family Centred Practice.
Your generosity will allow us to continue to develop this program and offer support in areas including:
Family Support
Child Life Therapy
Family Support Camps
Specialist Equipment
Communication
Accommodation
